Conor Byrne
Chief Financial OfficerIn 2018, Conor was appointed as a Director of the Hottinger Group. He is responsible for the overall strategic development and planning of the Group’s operations.
Originally from Ireland, Conor graduated from the University of Exeter with a Bachelor of Arts degree and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the public accounting firm KPMG.
During his 5 years with KPMG he gained multi-national experience leading several listed audit and advisory transactions, focusing on corporate finance and public listings.
Conor joined the Appleby Group in 2011 and helped lead the private equity backed MBO of their trust and corporate services businesses in 2016, joining the newly formed Estera Group’s central finance team in Jersey on completion.
Subsequently Conor has held a number of senior finance roles across the finance services sector, most recently as the CFO of Capital International Group.
A keen sportsman, Conor has represented the Isle of Man in Cricket and Hockey, captaining the latter for many years.
