Andrew joined the group in 2020 as a Director. Andrew advises clients and families predominantly with an entrepreneurial background from a variety of business sectors.
Andrew began his career with Lloyds Private Banking in 1994 as a portfolio manager, followed by a move to their research department as an equity analyst, before finding his real passion as a client adviser in their UHNW team. In 2002 he then moved with three other senior management colleagues to help build the private client division of Williams de Broe. Here, he helped turn a traditional stockbroking business into a more robust and larger investment management company which saw funds grow from £200m to £7.5b. In 2006 he joined the Board as executive director until it was sold to Investec in 2011 following a period of exceptional growth.
Andrew was appointed head of the Investec Private Office in 2014 where he embarked on a large-scale client segmentation project which allowed him to use his skills in strategic development, market awareness as well as a working knowledge of financial services technology.
After 5 years at Investec, Andrew joined Brown Shipley Private Bank where he successfully created and led the London Office Private Banking Team. During his tenure, Andrew was responsible for installing structure and ambition and motivating growth from able participants.
Andrew is married with three children. He holds a BA with joint honours in Accountancy and Economics from the University of Kent.
