Sustainability

At Hottinger we embrace the traditions of loyalty and ethics laid down by the Hottinger family, a historic European banking dynasty spanning eight generations. Our advisors focus on the key issues that our families define as important as they pass wealth, businesses and other assets from one generation to the next.

As a responsible entity, Hottinger Group also recognises, defines and measures its impacts on our stakeholders (see below). We have created a suite of activities which address any potential negative impact on them. These include education, charity and foundation offerings, philanthropy and sustainability advisory. Our Culture & Responsibility Committee meets monthly to assess the direct impacts of our business on the environment and local community and works with employees and partners to improve our footprint in these areas.

Our Responsible Investment specialists provide advice and solutions to those clients who are looking to pursue responsible impact and ethical investment strategies, including exclusion of ‘sin’ sectors, when requested. Hottinger Group is the first UK based private office to become a signatory of the UN Principles of Responsible Investment and works hard to fulfil its commitment to these six principles.
