Miguel Fraga

Miguel joined Hottinger in 2021 and is focused on sourcing, analysing and presenting private investment opportunities and providing other bespoke services to clients. He also acts as Portfolio Manager for the Hottinger AIM Portfolio Service offering.

Miguel is a seasoned investment professional with over 20 years’ experience in investment management, and an extensive and comprehensive understanding of global financial markets and investment analysis. He has served as Portfolio Manager and Senior Investment Analyst at Family Partners LLP focused on sourcing and analysing investment opportunities across various sectors and jurisdictions for discretionary multi-asset client portfolios. Prior to that, Miguel acted as Investment Manager for the Oceana Concentrated Opportunities Fund, a hybrid public and private equity fund seeking concentrated positions in compelling businesses with strong capital growth potential, including spearheading residential and commercial real estate investments in the aftermath of the Global Financial Crisis.

Previously, Miguel has held a number of investment roles including partnering in the launch and management of the Anquiro Global Equity Fund at Stonehage Fleming, and lead analyst covering the European Support Services sector at JP Morgan Cazenove.

Miguel is a CFA Charterholder since 2004 and holds a First-Class Honours Master’s degree in Biochemistry from Corpus Christi College, Oxford. He enjoys travelling, sports and fitness in his leisure time, and is a keen follower of scientific and technological innovation.
